Sip 'n' Stamp
This month's Sip 'n' Stamp was so much fun thanks to these amazing ladies!
I know that Valentine's Day is a month away still, but it was the perfect opportunity to put some of these new stamps to good work.
What Stamp Set shouldn't earn it's keep on the shelf? All of them should, if they aren't popular you shouldn't keep them.
This month we made three cute cards, a gift card holder, a treat box and gift bag. It is amazing that you can get a bunch of people in the same room with the same paper laid out in front of them, but you can get just as many unique cards as there are sets of paper laid out in front of them.
The Heart of Happiness Stamp set has been a huge hit with me for the fact that it has a variety of hearts that you can do virtually anything with. I would dare say that it is even suitable for a wedding card or a baby shower card. As a matter of fact almost everything that we made tonight had one heart or another from this stamp set.
I then slipped the old Bloomin' Love Set on the card with the My Valentine writing and then used the Basic Black Baker's Twine for the bow. You might think oh its just a bow, but for me bows are a worst nightmare. I'm just so particular about the bow being so perfect that I just can't let it go.
Then for the just for you card I used Primrose Petal pink card stock and use the new DSP which I think is so cute! Unlike some of the papers that you order for that one design that you really like, but then there isn't another piece that you like.
For the gift card holder we used that awesome DSP with the Just For You stamp from the Sure Do Love You Stamp Set and then for a little texture we put a bow with the new Love Mini Tinsel Trim which comes in gold and pink, two for one can't beat that!
This Hedgehugs Set is amazing! So many options for this set I just happened to use it for the Valentine's Day Card, but I'm sure we will use it again for birthday cards or children's birthday card. Then, just for fun we made a gift items.
I used my awesome gift bag punch board which let me tell you I was tired and trying to cut and score, let's just say that it wasn't my most shining moment in the history of Stampin' Up. A few mistakes and cussing myself later finally got this cute bag made.
By far this last piece was probably my favorite! I know it sounds crazy but this thin lit set with the Sure Do Love You Stamps is just giving me every reason to use it. With the heart punched out and the window put in you can see the chocolate just like the conversation heart when I was a kid.
